Phyllis Couillard

When I started taking photos it was a way to remember the trips I took. Over time I became more interested in finding a new perspective to “see” from.

I wanted to share what I saw in the landscape around me. For me, it’s always been about the play of light and shadow and a way to capture that moment in time. I like to take ordinary things that I find wherever I am. I still use slide film because I love the mystery of not knowing what the photo will look like until I have the film developed.

I have been taking photographs for over 25 years. My images come from my travels as well as from the local environs of the neighborhoods I’ve lived in. Enjoy… I hope you like what you see! Couillard Photography
