History

In 2018, two non-profit art groups in Contra Costa County, Las Juntas Art Association and East Bay Artists Guild merged and continue their mission of supporting artists and art in the community as Las Juntas~East Bay Artists Guild (LJ~EBAG).

Las Juntas~East Bay Artists Guild, is a non-profit organization dedicated to the success of artists and driven towards integrating the benefits of art and art appreciation into the communities.

General Meeting

A general meeting for all members is held on the fourth Saturday of the month, from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Pleasant Hill (excluding November and December). LJ~EBAG brings artists together to network, sharing, building art and business skills, and art education.

Art & Community

We bring art into the community through art exhibitions and community art events. Our store window art exhibitions utilizing downtown commercial buildings, offers artists an opportunity to showcase their work in a high-profile, public settings.

Promoting Art Education

For our members monthly meetings, we invite guest speakers, provide art demonstrations and critiques. Community outreach programs are designed to offer the public art education and appreciation.
